WEST END WORKSHOP: MARY POPPINS & MATILDA
SATURDAY 29th MARCH / 10.30am-12.30pm at Lipson Co-operative Academy
 
For our Younger PPAA'ers
PPAA teacher LEANNE HAWKER, whose West End credits include MAMMA MIA, LES MISERABLES, THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE, CAMELOT, HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING, and RYAN TAYLOR-YOUNG, who played ERIC in the touring production of MATILDA, will be running a 'MARY POPPINS & MATILDA' workshop for our younger PPAA students, on Saturday 29th March. 
 
Students will explore material from both shows, and also meet and take part in a Q&A with current 'MARY POPPINS' cast member ROAN PRONK, and West End Professional HELEN SIVETER, who will be running similar workshops for our PPAA Year 3-10 students alongside. We feel that the content of the older workshops on-sale will be too demanding for some of our younger students, but we would love them to be a part of the morning if they wish. 
 
 
HELEN SIVETER trained at BIRD COLLEGE and has been in almost every musical you can name! MATILDA, CHICAGO, MAMMA MIA, COME FROM AWAY, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, MEMPHIS, CABARET, WE WILL ROCK YOU, FAME, RENT  - plus the musical movies of WICKED, MATILDA, MAMMA MIA 2 and THE GRINCH (NBC/SKY). She has also been an associate choreographer/movement director on STARLIGHT EXPRESS, GROUNDHOG DAY, JACK ABSOLUTE FLIES AGAIN, PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT. 
ROAN PRONK is currently in the touring cast of 'MARY POPPINS' and will be teaching a dance from the show. Roan trained at Laine Theatre Arts and his other credits include MATILDA (Cambridge Theatre); CATS (International Tour); ‘Billy Elliot’ in BILLY ELLIOT &  ‘Michael Banks’ in Mary Poppins (Netherlands).
